Social Media Manager In this position, your main objective will be to facilitate daily Community Management and Social Media Relations functions for our retainer clients. The role requires a very healthy balance of 5 main attributes: 1) Outstanding Customer Service 2) Deep Industry Knowledge 3) Creative Thinking and The Sharing of Ideas 4) Organization and Proactivity 5) Results You will need to be a very professional self-starter and problem-solver, who is both goal-oriented AND task-oriented. In addition, you will be counted on to have the communication and decision-making skills necessary to work well both independently and with the other members of our team.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage the day to day retainer clients and all of their social media needs
  • Manage all communication and messaging for retainer clients
  • Create content for feeds and snippets in various social media sites
  • Be active personally with and immerse yourself in social media
  • Create and update weekly and monthly reports for clients
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
  • Research new social media tools and trends to provide to clients to augment their campaigns
  • Copy, post, status and tweet writing
  • Contest and promotion creation
  • Baseline understanding of the various Facebook Ad products and targeting capabilities
